Or maybe I just put on a different recoil pad.

And I bought it (T3 Lite Stainless) new for $550.

You should have just bought a T3X. They come with an upgraded recoil pad...

The upgrade still isn't as good as a Limbsaver.

Better than the T3 hockey puck.
