Road trip advice Portland to Medford and back

Portland to Medford. Drive to Medford and do not return. Portland is a sh*thole of progressive politics.

Have a phone interview for down there next week, and if that goes well they've offered to fly us down & put us up. I'll have an all day site tour, then they'll have a realtor show us around.

Looking at the general crime statistics, seems similar to the Salem area. However far far lower in the areas we're considering vs where we are now.

Schools, not so great, but that's ok-no rugrats (yet).

Property prices seem similar, a bit lower actually. Haven't looked yet for out of city limits yet though, but that's long term anyways.

General location is outstanding though (for what we enjoy), so quality of life bump, salary bump coupled with decreased cost of living.

PLUS the 1000 yard range is open twice per month...

We'll see...
