Im not sure some of these guys coming here to sell at the inflated prices are even gun owners.. they just search for web pages to sell on. just my thought on some of what is going on..
Lots of 9mm Blazer Brass ~$11.97 per 50 and there have been a few reports of UMC bulk packs of 9 showing up. I need .45 too. If anyone sees any let me (us) know. no neet to get the thread shut down. Let's shut donw gougers and help each other out at the same time.
The best way to shut down the gougers is by educating people to the fact that ammo is available at a reasonable price if you just take some effort to find it. For now just buy what you need, if you're not going shooting why stock up on high priced ammo? Starve the gougers out, if no one is buying their crack the link in their chain will be broken, they are buying ammo at the same places you can buy ammo. If you need a certain caliber for a day of target shooting call around or make a post asking where to find it, if you have to pay a high price by only what you will shoot and buy it from a dealer not a scalper since the dealer will be there when the price normalizes.
I agree whole heartedly. That being said... I have some 50rd boxes of 9mm Blazer Brass for $35/box. Any takers? Just Kidding The Wal-mart down here in Roseburg has been getting in 100 and 200 rd packs of .223 for around .40/rd Also the local Bimarts have had .40 and .45 lately. No 9mm though
Fisherman's in Oregon City has 9mm PMC 115 gr. FHJ $14.99 for a box of 50 they had 9 cases yesterday phone 503-557-3313
Actually I was thinking of the Sutherlin Bimart. I just called and they have 9mm Blazer Brass for $11.95/50 and Remington UMC $58/200 All out of .40 and .45 right now though.
man .40 cents a round that pretty damn good.... I dont like walmart but I guess I owe it to myself go see what they have...
the 100 rd packs are 50gr Federal JHP with LC Brass, and the 200rd packs are 55gr Federal FMJ with Federal (I think) Brass
Both walmart and bimart had blazer 9mm on their shelves last night here in la grande. Its showing back up... dont pay high prices, you'll kick your self later. nate
I am not resaling ammo, but I am a proud Capitalist. and I am sick oh hearing all of this cry baby crap about losing the race to the ammo shelves and then complaining about having to pay for it. Be first or pay a little extra. That is one of the founding principals of this great country of ours. Sometimes I think that some of you would be happier if the Government took to rationing ammo so that you could each get your fair share. Don't get me wrong. I have very little ammo on my shelves at home and I get annoyed that I can rarely find it when I am looking for it. But I would never hold a grudge against a fellow American who is trying to turn a profit as a result of my tardiness.
Socialist ...One who practices socialism See socialism Socialism .... Any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administrarion or the means of production and distribution of goods. I see none of that here. No one is begging for the Big Gov to bust in and save the day! They are asking for a courtesy from other gun owner to buy only what you need so we can all enjoy shooting on the weekends! A simple courtesy. As for whinning? Wasnt in the dictionary please explain??
I am fairly sure that Bi-Mart gets ammo in on Thursdays as a general rule. The guy in Winston told me that they get ammo on Thursdays and Reloading stuff on Fridays, typically. Sometimes it varies but that this is the norm. Good luck
