Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
It's hard to tell exactly what might be causing something like that, since it could be a hijacked banner ad, xss, zero-frame, or something residing on your system that your software can't currently detect. It might even be something in someone's signature which I've heard of on other forum sites. I've never seen that on this site since I run Firefox with AdBlock, NoScript and Ghostery which are set up so that I have to manually allow anything beyond basic html. A bit more work, but fairly effective.
Is there any commonality in where this warning pops up? That might help find where the actual issue lies.
Yes it seems that it only shows up after the NWFA web page initially loads up.
I am going to see if there are any new updates soon and rerun my anti virus and malware scans.

Ah Google Analytics. We do use it in order to track our visits, our demographic, what's working, and what isn't. I'm surprised any of your software is throwing up a red flag though, as it's used on millions of websites across the internet. And I can tell you with confidence the "sonspzwn.com" file it's trying to get you to download isn't from GA, but most likely an instance of spyware. What spyware scanner are you using?
That's really odd, between Avast and Spybot they should catch whatever your problem is. Are you sure the file is called "sonspzwn.com"? I couldn't find any info on it.
I'll be talking with the host tonight. We may need to upgrade again, as I'm not sure the last upgrade was sufficient enough. It's running better, but still not as good as it should be.
