It really came together for me when I added the stag grips. They'd probably go better on an old colt, but I don't have one lol.
I think they look just gorgeous on what you've got them on!
My eyes were immediately drawn to those grips upon first glance!

Oh, I thought you said "old goat" - that definitely applies to me.
My dream last gun is a Springfield Ronin in .38 Super. But, I'll have to make that myself. Saving, saving...

I own one and a half 1911's.

Kimber Classic Gold Match. Early production. Ordered from and personally delivered by their Director of Marketing, Dwight VanBrundt at a Kalispell gun show

Over 25 years later, at the same Kalispell show, I bought the Rimfire Target Conversion Kit.
Two-tone appearance makes it more difficult (for me at least) to grab the wrong ammo/magazine.
Practice just became (somewhat) cheaper. Accuracy is more than satisfying.
Would like to here more about your Gold Match, Yonkers or Clackamas roll marked?

Early first year Kimbers, all Clackamas roll marked.

There appears to be one honking magwell boot!! That's about all I see.
It's a magwell "funnel" by Dawson Precision called the Dawson "Ice"
It is pretty well developed in that it has a replaceable polymer liner.
In competition the funnels get torn up due to fast reloads.

The angle in my pic makes it look really big.

Here's a black one with white liner :
