Oregon CHL change of address

I know Oregon requires that you update the address on your CHL when you move unlike Washington. I mailed in my address change to the issuing agency but haven't received my updated CHL yet. Does anyone know if my CHL with my old address is still valid until the new one arrives?

Did you move within the same county as your original CHL?

Oh, then you're good. In Oregon is a different story as you have to get a new CHL when you move between different counties. It's kind of a pain.

I think its an Oregon law that the address shown on your CHL must match exactly the address on your drivers license
