Since it is my turn to cook up our fine Sunday dinner, perhaps time to dig through the big chest freezer and find that big prime ELK ROAST. Since it is a cool rainy day here in SW OR USA, the oven will be dandy. The good smell will help heat the house. Elk Roast for dinner along with carrots, potatoes, onions, cabbage and the rest. Maybe also some saved greens from the garden. Amazing how solid frozen meat cooks up sosssss well. Yumm yumm. :)
