I should sell it as I don't hunt anymore, but it's such a solid rifle and shoots so fine that I'm reluctant to let it go.
My favorite nephew always asks if I still have it when he stops by and checks out my latest gun acquisition, so I'll probably hang onto it.

Well they don't make 'em any more ...and as long as it is maintained , its not like they "go bad"...

Yes that is a beautiful rifle in my eyes. If I was looking for a good 30-06 that would be tied for first place. I have four 30-06s now.

The rifle I wish I still had was a Remington Model 760 Gamemaster in .257 Roberts. It had killed many deer, including my first. My Grandpa bought it new in the 50's and it was part of the batch mentioned here:
