I found this interesting, Ukraine captured an operation Russian T90M tank, their most advanced tank in the Ukraine conflict
it was wrapped in a new thermal camouflage that Russia claims suppresses the thermal signature of a tank to background levels

here's an article on the new thermal wrap called Nakedka blankets

How could anyone want to kill these cute lil' things...I think a rescue tank program should be started.

Looks like Russia sacrifices its old tanks first to run the west out of missles and money. With chips hard to get it may be hard to replace our missles.

$51,000 for a Dragon

$147,000 for a Javelin

Wars of attrition get expensive.

as long as there are Aggressors willing to wage War, it will not change

Yes, but the question is, will Russia collapse before the USA/NATO runs out of $ and weapons?

We've been down this road before and the Soviet Union collapsed, while the USA is still here.

Just America alone is $30+trillion in debt, no telling how much debt the rest of the west is running.

It's said Russia is $16 trillion rubles in debt and today's exchange rate is

Looks like Russia is OK money wise.

With Javelins around, I wouldn't want to be in an opposing tank.
Looks like currently, the Russians cannot defend against Javelin.
But according to Scott Ritter, "any Ukrainian that tries to use a javelin missile will be dead, the second they try to use it" (LMAO) 🤣

Debt isn't the only factor in a nation's economy

then why can't Russia pay it's soldiers fighting in Ukraine and why do they need to ask for crowd funding to pay for equipment for their troops?
why are their troops having to buy their own body armor?
the AKs their conscripts are being issued are older than mine and it was manufactured in 1989

the conscripts arriving at the front are saying they are issued 3 shovels per COMPANY
of course Russia is doing is OK money wise when they send their troops into combat as cannon fodder with no equipment and Cold War AKs and ammo

The first article points out that most of the captured Russian tanks were inoperative, and many were located in repair depots. This implies that maintenance is a problem for Russia, and spare parts may not be available. The crew should be able to repair a broken track pretty quickly, and with parts and tools carried on board.

  • Financial and bureaucratic issues are continuing to hinder Russian efforts to replenish formerly elite units defending critical areas of the front line, potentially threatening the integrity of Russian defenses in occupied parts of Ukraine.

The Russian MRE looks like someone went to a grocery store and threw some stuff off the shelf into a box. It does not necessarily make for good nutrition or stuff that will last in the field. Better than nothing I guess.
Youve seen our MRE's right? Its hard to get "good nutrition" when 80% of it is inedible.
