I fear that trying to recall any politician based on any single issue or bill is doomed to failure before it begins. The reason being that not enough folks are likely hacked off about that particular issue to be willing to take such action. In all honesty, how many folks in this state are actually pissed about this bill? How many don't even know of it's existence? Heck, there are still plenty of folks, even gun owners that have never heard of SB941.
The recall against Kate is different though - they're not focusing on a single issue or bill, they are basing it on a whole list of issues - issues that affect folks on both sides of the spectrum. Fact is, we need numbers to make a recall happen, and I have a feeling the numbers, based around this single bill, are far too low to have any impact. If we had the numbers, this bill probably wouldn't have passed in the first place.
