For those of you who are dead set that the President is going to put significant restrictions on/take away firearms, I'd be very interested to see what you think he personally is going to try to pass in the next four years (assuming Santorum/Romney winner fails.)
So right here if you could - put down your bets on what you think he's likely to put in action. Not Congress or the Senate, but what he is going to initiate and sign into law that's going to cause gun owners grief. What are the items you think are in his agenda that have you absolutely worried that will come in another four years and why you think he might be successful in those efforts. If the sky is going to fall, I'd like for people to put their names to predictions so in a few years we can look back and see how many of them were well-founded vs. tinfoil hat nuttery.
That's not necessarily an accurate statement. A vote for an incumbent over a new candidate isn't an endorsement per sé, but often times an acceptance that other candidates haven't shown they're a better or even a lateral option. My 2nd vote for GWB wasn't my endorsement of his decision-making at large, but rather not seeing any value that the opponent would bring in at that time that would be better. That said, I don't think GWB's weak points really became more pronounced until his 2nd term anyway. Personal opinion of course, but that one statement concerned me enough I wanted to speak to it. As to voting not being a game, I agree.
