Just passing this along. Seems to me like one of the events should be in the Portland metro area.

The National Rifle Association's Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA) is hosting two Legislative Workshops in Oregon this month. We will discuss the current threats Oregonians face and what you can do to help defeat them.

Is anyone from the Beaverton area planning to go to Springfield?
Have others been to these before? Are they helpful?

A year ago, I posted a ton of good arguments supporting the 2A, asking folks to use them as their own on Oregon news websites. Didn't see too many show up on OR Live over the last year. Am hoping we can do SOMETHING that helps. I also think that offering to teach non-gunners to shoot will remove the fear they have of these inanimate objects.
