So I bought a Nikon P223 3x scope last year, and honestly, this is probably the worst $100+ I've spent on anything. It's beautiful, the glass is clear, and bright, But it's a massive charlie foxtrot to find a mount for. The stock Nikon P223 scope rings they sell slide on, they don't loosen up and flip off like I want, instead they use the screw to index the picatinny rail.
At the same time, if I use straight high-profile rings, they don't hold the scope far enough forward.
And because of the size of this scope, nearly every mount I've tried doesn't fit. Anyone wanna chime in and end my suffering?
