I have a 15hp Sears gamefisher outboard 1984. It says to use "Non-corrosive, EP 90outboard gear lube". Is this marine grade (like quicksilver) 90 weight gear oil. Also, what kind of "Anti-Seize" lubricant would you recommend for the prop shaft? Any bit of help would be great-Thanks!
Defiantly marine grade 90wt and any good quality anti-seize will do.
Try and find a bottle of 90wt that comes with a pump and a hose attachment.
Fill the lower case using the pump nozzle into the drain plug hole, until the oil comes out of the upper fill hole. Replace the upper fill plug, then the drain plug.
That way you know it has filled the whole case, and it's a lot faster.
