Have some rounds with a headstamp of HP .223 5,56. Red sealer around the primer, the bullet has a black or very dark blue plastic cap on the top.

Hirtenberger Patronen-, Zündhütchen-und Metallwarenfabrik A.-G., Hirtenberg, Niederdonau, Austria

gives me the manufacturer, now I just need to find out what the black plastic tip means. I've never shot any of it, just kind of wondering what is special about it.

I'll have to see if I can find my camera, I put it "away" last year after our last Alaska cruise. Hmm... wonder where it is, probably right next to one of my Taurus PT-145's that I also put away BEFORE the trip and haven't found yet. Dumb me locked the safe and didn't want to bother opening it again before we left so I hid it someplace!
