I completely agree, and I've never had that problem, so it doesn't bother me.
I just find it ironic that a site that is all about

Try typing a word they find unacceptable,
And they replace it with "bubblegum"

I thought it was just another new trend in weird speech.
I do much prefer the word "bubblegum" to whatever it replaced.
I'm not much of a "gutterbreath" sort of guy.

It is very important to step back and disregard the MSM as well as other sources of media at times.

We are what we consume and if we sit back and dwell on the negative that's surrounding us all the time, we will end up being negative ourselves.

Every year I take a week or two and unplug from all media. I have no care to know what's going on, my own personal mental health and stability is more important than knowing what's going on in the crazy world we live in.

Everyone should have a time of break. I enjoyed a couple of them so far this year and it helped to clear my head and refocus my energy and time to be spent where it really matters. I still reserve NWFA as a source of entertainment because I have control over what threads I want to view and what sections I want to entertain myself with.

Do what you need to do for you.

Friend, I visit another board that gives you all the freedom you like, a gun board for the entire USA with great folks and all the argument you want. It doesnt' have the local classifieds like this place for the buy and sell but the freedom of the board is and has been what America is about.

Pm me and I will get he info to you, but I promise someone will offend you with free speech.

It's a sight kids can learn about firearms as well. Not being able to cuss doesn't stop us from communicating . And I don't think we need dirty, nasty talk that they can easily read. Is not a bar. But I dont like loudmouths in restaurants that cuss around kids either. Ymmv

Personally not ready for a break yet. My time will come but not there. Too much going on that threatens our liberties and Republic and I couldn't relax thinking about it. You all get some R&R and when you come back I'll catch you up a bit if you need it.

In the mean time bubblegum all the gun grabbing bubblegummers who dance on the graves of the innocent while hoping another evil mass murdering bubblegummer will get on the loose again.

You are absolutely right, gotta stay on top of things. But I do try and take breaks here and there, never more then a few hours at a time for me personally thats all I need especially with something this important.

It's tough because we need to find balance. If you don't get some relief you won't be frosty when you need to be. If we all get wore down then they win for sure.

There is NO CENSORSHIP here! Get over it, your looking for something that isn't there! Yes, your curse words get filtered, and if you type something unsavory, threatening, inflammatory, and all that, then it might get moderated some what, but censored? NOT EVEN!

I take a place for what it has to offer, in this way I vote with my feet when I need to fulfill my free speech wants. Pc will be followed in a house that demands it, I visit it for what I want then go where pc isn't allowed. Best of both worlds, try it.

Man, we have met before, you've been here longer then most and I know your a great guy... but it seems like you woke up on the wrong side of the bed or something and might be taking some of the frustration we are all feeling out on the wrong people.

I think calling censorship of curse words a violation against the 1st amendment is going a little far. There are plenty of websites you can join and go on any tirade you'd like.

However, this isn't a free for all place and imo it is a much more pleasant place to browse because of that.

Negativity and accusations against your fellow pro 2nd peers is just the kind of in fighting that gets us no where and only hurts everyone.

We are all pretty stressed about current events, disconnect and chill till you've got it out of your system.

I have met quite a few on this thread, even the mod that said I can leave..
Looks like censor was a trigger word for some here, I guess creatively edit would have went over better...
I welcome all points of view, even if they're wrong....
But my point is a valid one

Were you shown the door? Not at all. But complaining about this site and us moderators did have me say if you don't like it here you are welcome to go somewhere else. That's all. You can read more into it if you want, just like you are convinced us mods censor everyone. But neither is true.

OPSEC was the main reasons that thread got moderated, not any thing to do with censoring in the way you think! There was a lot of very personal details and some things needed to be removed to protect some folks! If any thing, that thread showed how a group can come together and bring out the best in all of us to help a fellow in trouble!
