What's there to say. It's never about money. Too many Americans don't take pride in the job they applied for. Work for many here, holds no value.

I wonder what this woman thinks she should be doing? CEO of Spirit airlines?

Man that prosecutor has a sucky job in this one. "Yeah she did it, but there are other problems too and besides, what good is punishing her going to do?"

I appreciate the guys that stand up and make our justice system work, but sometimes you can read the "I'm just trying to do my job but I got nothing." between the lines. And even then she got off light in my opinion. I would have tracked down some of the victims and if there was any harm there I would have partially ascribed some of the culpability for that harm directly to her. I do wonder if there is anything about her job that would prevent civil lawsuit against her or the county. . .

Ive always wondered how they "really feel" about many of their clients. Seems like it would be really hard to defend someone you believed was guilty but its part of their job....

I've known a few who did criminal defense. Sometimes they feel their only job is to make sure the prosecution did their job right by questioning the provenance of every last bit of evidence and legal theory put forward. They are not trying to get their guy off, but they don't want the prosecution to get sloppy and get away with anything either.

Of course they can't say that. Their entire job is predicated on attempting to get their guy off. If there is any inkling that that is not what they are trying to do that is an ethics violation and can lead to a mistrial. No matter what the case is they are obligated to get the best outcome they can for their client. And sometimes that "conflict" shows a bit more clearly. It could just be me, but I am getting those vibes here.

How about this….make it so she can never work in healthcare, LEO/Fire/EMS ever again. There has to be a registry for this just like for cops who get revoked, isn't there?

Was on the jury at an attempted murder trial. The guy who was shot positively identified his attacker, someone he knew. All the additional evidence was compelling as well. The defence's entire case was "when a person has lost that much blood they can be delirious or mentally confused" so we shouldn't rely on his testimony.
We thought that was pretty weak....

I would to know what her interview looked like or better yet the people interviewing her.
I wonder if the term "casting couch" would come into that description at all. But yeah, I would like to see her hiring manager investigated as well. Seems like some kind of ball was dropped somewhere.

Having lived in Freattle, I had a car stolen. Could not get a dispatcher to speak to. The voicemail referred me to the website to report a crime. I went there only to see that car thefts cannot be reported there.

I received a call 4 days later that my car was found totalled, having been driven into a telephone pole. Dispatcher, what's that?

I think they need to check if those ignored calls sounded, "inadequately pigmented" for her liking.
They would if she was a natural blonde named Jane Lundberg. :s0092:
