I've been following this story since the stranger murder in Lake Oswego. When they announced a suspect I was curious enough to look up the photos and description of the guy. A real winner, white supremacist and heavily tattooed.

I was concerned about him leaving the Portland area and trying to get lost in some of the smaller communities. With the homeless population in Corvallis and the student population moving in it would be a good place to get lost in. A lot of the homeless population visit our church as they provide meals during the week.

Saturday he was spotted getting breakfast at our church.

Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested a murder suspect in front of the Super 8 Motel on Second Street in Corvallis.

Erik John Meiser, 37, was arrested on a murder charge of Fredrick “Fritz” Hayes on Sept. 17 in Lake Oswego.
