Went to the pit up squaw where the couple was killed last year, was there the day before they were found and have been there three times since that happened.
First time a cross had been made for the 2 who sadly lost their lives there.
2nd time up, cross was burned and shot.
And yesterday I saw that many painted rocks had been left with messages for the deceased, but had been blasted away from shooting and little packs of "sonic boom" (assuming its similar to tannerite)
I put them back to the best of my abilities and what I could find.
Not to mention more garbage than I'd ever seen, which I collected and burned a lot of.

I spend a lot of time back in this area and its pretty sad to see others having such a lack of respect for people who were murdered there, let alone the forest and shooting areas.

We put a memorial up for a fallen rider in a busy ORV area and one of the first things that happened is somebody shot holes in everything. Makes you wonder about people for sure...

If you ride Jones Creek in Washington you may have rode right by. I prefer not to say exactly where it is located on a public forum. DNR has been pretty cool about leaving it thus far. I go up several times a year and keep things tidy. Some people come by and have a soda or whatever they fancy and leave a rock and sometimes half soda from what I can tell. I typically clean up every couple of trips to make sure it doesn't get unruly and attract any unwanted DNR attention.

Wait, you mean we can't just shoot 'em...?
