Moving to Eastern WA state, please offer your input on cities

Check out Prosser. It's a small town in wine country, but close enough to tri-cities to commute. It's on the Yakima if you like to fish. Lots of rabbit, upland bird, and sage rats. You'll have to go farther for deer, but everyone does.
