this is my old first gen night optics - well depleted now - will become a wall hanger
does anyone have personal experience on the modern generation of electronic scopes? looking at a price range of about $1000

I know from personal experience the ones with a IR illuminator don't work well in our NW rain and fog, the IR get dispersed in the weather
