Henry .22 Golden Boy Silver, the only gun I ever sold, just boring AF to shoot also malfunctioned, was not reliable at all.
If I was the manufacturer, I would mail me $150 for pain. suffering and the money I lost on it.

Replaced with the .357 model and that is now one of my favorites.
 
What gun? (Make, model, caliber): Savage 99
What about it was promising to you?: Magazine fed lever action. Able to use all copper bullets.
What about it fell short of your expectations? : Not made anymore. And steel buttplate.
If you were the manufacturer, what would you have done differently with it? : Probably drop the Monte Carlo stock on some models.
