Rush Limbaugh talked about it this morning. The store I work weekends went through 280000 rounds of XM193 by noon as it is rumored Obama is trying to ban all AR15 ammo and not just the M855 and SS109. Just a rumor mind you.

Update since Thursday we went through another 400 cases XM193 as well as what was on the shelf in small boxes for a total of 680000 rounds plus from Thursday until Sunday afternoon when we basically ran out of case lots.

Also sold 25000 rounds of 50 gr ballistic tip as well because it was all we had in 500 rd packs.

So Obama once again became sales man of the year without even trying hard.

If I remember my history didn't the British come for guns and the stores of power and ball?

I do not remember that turning out so well for the British.

Backlash momentum builds on proposed bullet ban

While public backlash is building over a proposed ban on green-tipped M855 ammunition for modern sport-utility rifles, people are buying all the ammunition they can, KNOP News reported yesterday, while more than 100 members of Congress have signed a letter headed this week to the director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

I wish I could get a photo of the BATFE Director's face when he gets all that correspondence opposing the proposed ban dropped on his desk, because it'll show his "I don't give a flying FRAK what all of you think" face and he'll do what his puppet masters want done anyway.

For some reason, no one seems to trust Obama. At least no one that owns guns.

A 58 yr old man here in Springfield, Oregon got himself all worked up over this coming ban, and proceeded to get into an intense argument with his 19 yr old son over it. He then allegedly grabbed a loaded shotgun and threatened his son with it, and also punched his son in the face.

His son managed to get the shotgun away from his Dad, and he locked himself in his bedroom to call 911. When the police arrived, they said that they could see a silhouette of the father holding a long gun. They managed to get the father to come out unarmed, and his son refused to press charges against him.

However, police claim that they witnessed his threatening behavior, so he has been charged with menacing, which is a Class A misdemeanor in the state of Oregon.

So folks, please don't get yourself all worked up over this. It is not worth it.

I now don't want to shoot what I do have nor do I want to bend a fellow member over so I sock it away I guess. Maybe I'll eventually trade it for something I can shoot.

The m855 ban will hopefully go down as unconstitutional. The judiciary House chairman has collected 172 signatures from the House opposing the ban.

Our nation's founding fathers must be rolling over in their graves. Obama appears to think that he is a KING!

That is just the sort of thing that our Constitution is supposed to protect us from. Our nation is not supposed to be a monarchy.

I just bought three 100-rnd boxes of XM193 at my local Bi-Mart at (more or less) normal prices... Plenty on the shelves, no limit. I could have bought every box they had on the shelf, but the wife gave me the stink-eye as it was... LOL!

You must be extra Stomper special cuz my BiMart limits the sale to 100rnds.
