That was the general consensus around the 'cracker barrel' in Sportsman's Warehouse today.
I really don't feel bad for all the folks who paid the panic prices over that past3 weeks for green tip plinking ammo. With that said I think all the gouging will just migrate back to 22LR I'll stick to the XM193 for range fun. I have zero use for $50 bricks of 22LR or green tip as I'm well stocked with 193s and Mod 1.

Indeed. That's the reply I expected. Next time you've got "lazy American" comments, I'm sure you have a mirror in your home. The continued permission asking won't get you anywhere, so please stop pretending that writing letters gets anything done. Someone has to actually do the heavy lifting and not just complain from within the confines of what you yourself refer to as "Little Pyongyang".

In short, those of us growing our own food and setting up to live completely independent are not "lazy". We simply have learned that real efforts are wasted when surrounded by "Progressives". There's a VA in White City. Get the h*** out of there and get within communication range of like-minded folks. Even if you have been "Locked and loaded since 1968!"(Which is a good thing, please don't misunderstand.), you only have the two trigger fingers and are surrounded by a legitimate 1.5-2 million enemies.

I'd actually rather find common ground than division, but so many of us have left the crap to make a real life and, just maybe, a real America someday. We are not "lazy", we simply have known for years that playing within the system gets you nowhere. Well, to h*** with "the system". It left America, Freedom and Liberty behind long ago.

Riddle me this. Now that their ban has temporarily failed, do "they" create a false flag using M855, or do they just purchase it all, like DHS after Sandy Hook? Either way, "they" aren't listening and do not care that we have spoken. They will find another way around it, and you can believe they are working on it right now.

Sincerely, good luck to you and fight the good fight, whatever that may mean for you.

You are one strange bird with a response like that.
I am and have been self reliant since birth, Born on a farm , lived 95% of my life growing and taking my own food both game and green. And have actually lived the survival life for several years, so you need to speak f0r yourself. Actually your a bit funny, but very odd if that post reflects how you are.
Personally we depend on no one but ourselves and help those like us.
The legislative fight needs to be done before the blood fight, but both will most likely happen the way this country is headed. I won't back down from either when it is necessary !
I have fought this fight for our 2nd Amendment since the 50's and it does work and they will listen to words and have. The alternative they face, they know and understand. The bluff ran out and they are aware of it whether they admit it yet or not.

And the good percentage of Americans are lazy azzes.
Hell they can't even get out to vote.
Or show up at rallies.
.

True dat Taku.
If Sam wants to sit on the farm and be complacent and let others fight for him, that's his choice, albeit a poor one but he has that right...

Yep that he does :) That is what we fight for.
I actually like farms... been my home forever, but I also want the mobility option very close and always ready :)
Short of a full company ( and that is not enough), no one is going to hold a farm in serious times :)

You paid too much. The second part of my post was a joke. I have put the M855 to the back of my rotation, behind several thousand other rounds. Buy low, sell high.

Well, after checking a couple of places locally and finding that they were sold out, and visiting several websites that were all out of stock, I ended up paying that price: $450 for 750 rounds. I figured it probably was high, but last week it was looking like the ammo was going to be outlawed the end of this week, and I was happy just to find some to buy.

I mainly did it to thumb my nose at the Obama Administration, anyway. :D

So, you lived in a "survival life" for several years, THEN moved to Portland? Who's the odd bird? No, you haven't done d***. You think because your bosses are going to WAIT A WHILE to ban this ammo that you "won" something? Can you describe any of your other "wins" since the '50's? Not a single one, is there?

You depend upon a huge system to provide food to your grocery stores and you've obviously chosen to lie down and take the easy route. As you yourself stated, it's a choice only you can make and you chose to be the problem. You chose to live "95% of your life" as an American, then you decided to move to "Little Pyongyang" for the last 5% of your life? Did you just get there 6 months ago, or are you 100 years old? Your math is fuzzy, but look at the political games you play, how could 2 plus 2 still equal 4?

Your "keen"(read: complete lack of) understanding of what it takes to "hold" a farm is startling. We are in the mountains, have natural and artificial defenses and actually have the trigger fingers. All you city boys will be doing is arming those that just got finished doing what they will to the females in your life and are moving on to the neighbors house.

By all means, burn with your self-described "North Korean Sanctuary". Do not "head for the hills" like the other losers that demand everything be done for them. If my land burns, it will be at a minimum of 24 months after your bones have been bleached white.

Your implication that a stand can be made in Portland or any other city is a giant laugh. Of course, that is in no way surprising. Those that demand everything be done for them must stay near where those that can do the heavy lifting. "Rallies". What a pathetic joke. Aren't you the same guys that whine about a man with a rifle at a rally making you "look bad", because we're all a giant pile of Socialism and no longer individuals? I'm an individual and I made my choice. You chose complacency and the right to beg and plead for your "unalienable rights". As you said, that's your choice. I couldn't be happier with mine, you however spend a lot of time validating your own.

Good luck with that.

I'm here fighting my own fight. You are there beating your head against a wall that will not move. I have fought in many ways and for some reason, plugging Afghans didn't feel like an accomplishment. Making a future for my family in a place that is so removed from your unwinnable wars? That's something I can hang my hat on.

Oh and, uh, "thanks" I guess for "fighting for me"(I'm not sure that you have ever taken up arms in the name of saving me, but if that's what you need to validate your behavior, then by all means KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.). I vote, own my property outright and defend myself, feed myself, teach my children and NEVER ask permission for or even have any concern for the gun on my hip, changes to my property or any of the other things free men do.

Yeah, on second thought, you got me. I should stop all this real living and pack my things. I should piss all over my family because YOU decided that I'm not "fighting" hard enough in your pathetic, ineffectual way.

As I said to your Ol' Lady up there, GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!

Not worth a reply.
Unbelievable arrogance.
You have no clue to what you say nor about where and why. Too close is anywhere in the state west of the cascade summit. LOL.
Presumptious __________ .

Also you just earned the famed "IGNORE SWITCH" :D

That's what I thought. Except, before your weak-a** reply, you said it wasn't worth a reply.

When you spew your lies about 95% of your life being spent as an American, you obviously lie. Then when called on it, you claim it doesn't warrant a response. Thanks for playing, but I believe that is your a** I just handed you.

I am an AMERICAN. I don't need to show up at your silly rally or club(is it a hot-rod club? Rally?) to act upon my rights, I just DO IT. Keep asking permission, keep feigning disbelief at those that are already DOING what you claim to be fighting for.

Those on the dole need to be close to a city. I think that basically sums things up. Anything else that you can't comprehend? Weren't you in Vietnam? Have you heard McNamara admit that The Gulf Of Tonkin NEVER HAPPENED? Still think you can "rally" your way around this scum? No, it's just how you validate YOUR laziness.

Got anything else? My footing is firm. Americans do not and will not ask permission, but there you are asking and begging for what is already yours.

Well not even reading this... you are argumentative and like to ruin people's days
ROFLMAO.
Sorry does not work here.
Enjoy your sorry life.
:)
My methods have worked just fine for 70 years and will for many more.......
And my patriotism has been proven. I live it every day..

There is a lot of truth in Sam's words if you read between the lines a little.......not the personal stuff but the political stuff.......sounds like a perfectly normal person to me.

Truth is none of us no many truths about each other......
