Looking for some info on these 2 Military ? Gun Ammo Belts .

Well I'm striking out in my books on the shotshell belt! If I run acrossed something ill throw it in here.
No matter what its a neat piece. Now I need to find one to go with my model 97!

Top Belt - So without getting my hands on the first belt, I will cautiously say that it is a reproduction. The M-1910 Cartridge belt has 5 pouches per side and your belt has 5 on one side and 4 on the other. The stitching looks modern as well compared to the older style of stitching used in the early 1900's. (only exception was the M-1910 belt used in 1916 and it had a pistol pouch on the left side front over the existing pouch. Used in the 1916 Mexican expedition).

The Shotgun belt - I don't collect those, so I would have no real idea without looking close up at the stich pattern and craftsmanship.

I understand...but disagree with almost as much experience in collecting US Field Gear as you have,

In any event....saying that one is something or not...based on a photograph...is guess work at best.
As you mentioned earlier....seeing the item in person is best.

Up front disclaimer. I am not anywhere near the level to discern re-pop from legitimate antiques.
That being said, I would assume reproduction on these. The condition is amazing, and that makes no sense given the age of the items in question.
Super cool either way. Just wouldn't want the OP to get all excited about value.

I too was impressed by the condition, and wondered, considering I have my father's gear from WWII as Gunner's Mate/Boarding Party (M1 Carbine/Model 11 stuff) on a Destroyer Escort. Nowhere near the condition of the OP's stuff. (and Dad's was relatively briefly...but roughly...used.)

This is what the Russell stamp looks like in one of the M-1910 belts I've had in my collection for over 30 years (before the repo market existed). Notice the Letters go from small to large back to small to fill the oval. I have a couple of other examples of this style of lettering on other gear that is the same.
