Hey y'all, I'm looking to have a barrel re-coated. It's black nitride right now and I want it to have a stainless/inox look. Iv done a little looking around about it but I want other opinions. Basically plating vs cerekoting. Which is harder, or long lasting. Good shops in the portland area, that kinda thing.

Not local, but Google, Robar Coatings. Top drawer, with many benefits.

If you can find anybody that still offers NP3... at a reasonable price. Robar dropped it or went out of business. Second best would be brushed hard chrome.
