I picked up an early 5 line M1A in the area last week. Called SAI and it left their facility in 02/1985 as a bare receiver. It currently is a built / bedded rifle with all GI parts and has a Hart SS heavy barrel. On the barrel it is stamped with the name Tom Musser. I'm guessing he is the builder or the shooter. It is not a true match build since it doesn't have NM sights. I'm hoping someone here knows or has known that person. Any info would be appreciated.
