Yeah the WH blamed the CIA for the bad intel and the CIA doesn't like that.

CURL: You don't mess with the CIA - Washington Times
CIA spokesman Jennifer Youngblood said, "We can say with confidence that the agency reacted quickly to aid our colleagues during that terrible evening in Benghazi. Moreover, no one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate."

Oops. Back in your court WH..

The emails and video feed went to the WH Situation Room, it was 4:00 pm in DC and the Pres met w his team in the Situation Room. Remember it was on the 11 year anniversary of 9/11. Command and control, the highest ranked person makes the final decision. Looks like he did and then went to bed cause he had an important campaign stop in Vegas the next day.

Notice there were no pics of him in the Situation Room this time.

Remember when the first headlines about Benghazi for several days ware how badly Romney screwed up? Thanks to the storm the duplicitous media (who won't give future Pres elect Romney a break on anything) now has an excuse for ignoring Benghazi, Fast and Furious and the Romney surge.
Whew, you know they feel relieved!!

It's getting stinkier.
Apparently the former head of U.S. Africa Command, one General Ham, has lost his job over this fiasco, and this admin's attempts to cover up what really happened:

TRR: Is a General losing his job over Benghazi? - Washington Times
The information I heard today was that General Ham as head of Africom received the same e-mails the White House received requesting help/support as the attack was taking place. General Ham immediately had a rapid response unit ready and communicated to the Pentagon that he had a unit ready.

General Ham then received the order to stand down. His response was to screw it, he was going to help anyhow. Within 30 seconds to a minute after making the move to respond, his second in command apprehended General Ham and told him that he was now relieved of his command.

The story continues that now General Rodiguez would take General Ham's place as the head of Africom.

Closed, please observe rule #9:

9. All political discussion must be directly related to firearms, gun rights, or the second amendment.

There are many different people here with many different viewpoints on various issues. Like religion, discussing these issues here is highly likely to offend and very little good can come of it. We need to be focusing on the things that bring us together (firearms), not the things that have the potential to divide us (politics).
