is to late to save America

Is it to late to repair the union or are we headed towards a civil war.
I look at all the hate that is being posted by both sides after the election and I can't see any way to come together as one nation.

It is clear that the liberals are on a roll and may remain in power for the foreseeable future. What bothers me the most about this is a willingness to give up their / our constitutional rights for a few handouts.

The liberals grow in numbers with every graduating class from our universities while they conservatives are dwindling.

I feel that if we are not " saved " by a European financial melt down that unmask the liberals for what they are to their supporters the conservatives are doomed

Conservatives are dying, liberals are multiplying... what's that tell you?

It's social evolution. "Conservatives" wanting to "conserve" a heaping pile of bubblegum left over from the 20th century is the problem. The world evolves, and liberals are evolving with it. Conservative thinking is like a sandcastle on the beach at low-tide- good luck with that.

I'm not promoting liberalism as we currently recognize it. But I am saying a failure to advance with the rest of the civilized world is the reason Conservatives are dying out. Dinosaurs once experienced a similar effect, as I recall... grand and wonderful as they were in their time.

The folks now called liberals and socialists were called moderate Republicans and conservatives 50 years ago. The conservative movement of today seems hell bent on bringing back the laze-faire capitalism of the nineteenth century and the racist policies of the past. It is they, not the liberals, who could destroy our working class and transform our nation in to a 3rd world sweatshop hellhole.

9. All political discussion must be directly related to firearms, gun rights, or the second amendment.

There are many different people here with many different viewpoints on various issues. Like religion, discussing these issues here is highly likely to offend and very little good can come of it. We need to be focusing on the things that bring us together (firearms), not the things that have the potential to divide us (politics).
