Is SCOTUS afraid of right-to-carry debate?

Following yesterday’s announcement that the Supreme Court will not hear a case challenging a state law regulating the right to bear arms, one might wonder if the nine justices are simply fearful to rule that the Second Amendment actually does extend beyond the home, and too bad for people who don’t like that.

scotus if you read the heller disision scalia was forward in saying no one has ever taken the 2nd to task
that is no one has had a leagle case to define what the 2nd is about.
