Info on H&A 38 cal top break

Well, it's a small world, I'm from Oregon also. I lived 40 miles south west of Portland in McMinnville.
I was a trucker for PTI out of Salem.
I know what you mean about the old guns. I wouldn't let one of mine for anything. I have an Colt 22 that i got back in the 60's and i keep it locked up. I have 3 Colts, 2 H&A, and 1 US Revolver. I'm 81 and i like to tinker with them over the winter when i can't get outside.

A long time ago I was employed by an older gentleman who owned a lot of rental houses in the Portland area.
One day he asked me if I wanted some old revolvers that he had stored out in his garage
He handed me a box full of old Saturday night specials. Come to find out that his dad was once a sheriff over in Eastern Oregon and these were guns taken off of drunks, vagrants and general miscreants that he had apprehended.
I wish I had held onto them, but I traded them off over time.
