I post threads and they don't show up in new threads

I have done a couple reviews and they are still on the site but I never saw them on the new posts for the forums. Is that just because I don't see my own threads?

The purpose of the new posts feature is to find posts you haven't read. The software assumes if you make a post that you've read it
