I have a stag arms lower receiver. What should I do with it?

I have 2 AR 15 in 556. I was wondering what you pros suggestions are. I was thinking of getting a PSA 308 kit. or I am thinking going 9mm.

Thinking about ammo cost and usefulness.

Well if it's an AR15 lower it won't work as a AR10.

Build a .458 Socom from it, since you're now stuck with only 10-round mags. Just happens that 10 round .458 Socom mags hold 30 rounds of .223 or 5.56...

I agree that 458 Socom would be the way to go. I like mine.

If it is a Stag 10 lower, those are a SR-25 pattern, the PSA PA-10 upper will not work. Your best bet is to stick with a Stag upper, but if you insist on mixing, the KAC SR-25 and LMT MLKMWS uppers will fit.

I'm not a fan of conversion blocks or those magazine conversions. 22lr mags use a standard magwell and mag catch.

Shame some company hasn't figured the magic sauce to make a PCC magazine out of existing .223 mags so you don't need the block.

They have but they suck. With the mag block you usually get a solid elector built in. With the endo mag guts you also get an extractor, a plastic one built into the guts. However, that ejector comes out with magazine. It's not a great use of a lower outside of a range toy. I watched a member/friend here Use one in competition. Was entertaining watching him clear his gun after each stage. Pull mag, empty mag, insert mag, clear round from chamber, remove mag and show clear. Without the mag you have no way, outside of sticking your hands in there, to clear the round in the chamber. It will just sit in the bolt face while you pull the CH back and forth.

Cmmg has a pmag guts insert to make a 30 round 9mm it of a standard 5.56 magazine. Will work for sure on banshees, don't know about blow back uppers though

What you should really do is build a SBR in the barrel length of your choice. That's what I would do with an extra lower if I had one laying around.

If you want 30 cal with the same lower go 300 blackout or 7.62x39.
