I like to change mine often. You people need to read the goll -darned name!
I pick an avatar with a few criteria, my mood, something that I can easily spot, something that reflects my personality or some aspect of it.
My current avatar reflects that I'm a handsome and cool, cool, cat!!! It also kind of says, "Stay off of my tail!"
