Hwy 26 past Manning, place to shoot

In response to my NEWBE post in December, MORPHEUS suggested that I try Lower Wolf Cr. Rd. I wound up on N. Fork Wolf Creek Rd, 10.6 miles past the Vernonia (Hwy 47) junction. About 1 mile up, the area to the north of the road opened up and it was pretty clear it had been used for shooting. The two main problems I had were the thick ground cover and swampy areas from the heavy rains in December. I was able to pick up my 12 ga cartridges but handgun brass disappeared. There are lots of stumps but also lots of rot so difficult to place targets. I will go again when weather improves.
