And I can't express how much safer I feel knowing an old A1 clone is off the streets.
I can't believe how many people let emotions lead them rather than logic. He makes no mention of the other guns he has. Why did he not cut them all up? Only AR's are bad huh. It's the people not the guns! You can't punish everyone on the basis that something bad could happen some day. Give me a break.

Well, he has his convictions that's for sure. Sounds like he has some self imposed guilt complex of some kind going on. If that's the case, he probably isn't 100% in all of his mental faculties. Hopefully he won't have to deal with a home invasion. If so, regret may be the last thing he thinks about.

Our "advocates" don't pop their heads from the feeding trough until after the fact. when have ya seen something positive or non reactive on TV besides the outdoors type channels? we have allowed ourselves to be become that "crazy uncle" every family has, that only a few like and most barely tolerate.
on a side note, did he just make a illegal SBR? he probably wont get prosecuted because the AG crowd will hail him as "forward thinking" and a model for all gun owners to follow.

Several thoughts converged on my tiny brain all at once.
1) he has indeed made an illegal SBR with that AR - ATF please take notice
2) he does have some serious guilt going on, and appearantly a socialist, because he wants many punished for the actions of one or a few
3) if he was serious about destroying that AR, he should have sawed the upper and lower receivers in half, rendering them inert. All it needs is a new barrel and hand guard to be made while again, sniffle sniffle
4) as a parent of a grade school child, I'm on my knees every day praying for
my child's safety, because our leaders refuse to secure our schools. Making any class of guns illegal will not make our schools safe. Metal detectors and armed security will makes our schools safe, period. If we can do it to protect an airplane, why in God's name can't we do
it to protect our schools.
5) the United States Congress must address the mental health crisis we have in this country. They need to get out of bed with big pharma and stop becoming millionaires at the cost of our children who are being destroyed by psychotropic drugs...
My condolences to those who lost loved ones at the hands of yet another madman. They need to address the problem and as we all know that problem is not firearms, it's those who are morally bankrupt, have no value for human life, let alone their own and who are suffering mental illness without proper counseling and help. And that help my friends is not found in a prescription bottle...

I don't understand the logic. He'll still drive a car even though they kill more than AR15s, buy products from enslaved countries, ect, ect.
I feel guilt for things I am guilty of. Different strokes. CNN and the parents letting their minor kids demonstrate on the WH still haven't offered one solution. And they never will.

Those who surrender their freedom and liberty for the empty promise of safety, deserve none of them!
What we are being offered is the same old rhetoric, the same old empty promise that this one more law, this one more restriction, this one more chip off your rights, will do the trick..
Well folks, they haven't in the past 20
or 30 years, what makes this one so different it'll be effective?
I promise you it too will fail to be effective. I say push back and push back hard. Demand the laws already in place are followed. Demand accountability for failures at multiple levels this time.
Demand the tools available today be fully utilized. Refuse and rebuke any further restrictions.

Why do I get the feeling that he's probably cutting up someone else's gun? Purchased for him to pretend with.
He's likely a paid fake, seems to know little about the brand new gun he's holding like it's plutonium. If he had an iota of gun experience, he'd know how to cut up a gun correctly and not make it into an SBR.
