Curious here what gun, powder, bullet weight your doing. I've been doing .45 for a 1911 and always started with minimum powder, and through 500 or so rounds have never had a FTE. I've done just fine staying in the lower half of the rcomended amounts in 9mm and recently .40.<br />

Everyones experience is different. With a p220 carry, extreme 230 rn plated bullets and universal, I made it to .2 grains below max before I got consistent ejection with a velocity average of 680 fps, WAY below where the book says it should be. :confused:

I'm currently at .1 grains over max, consistent ejection patterns and recoil nearly identical to WWB. Hopefully I will get to chrono them this weekend to verify velocity.
