Holsters and hip distribution packs?

I used to do a drop leg when out in the woods. Up till I got it caught on a rock. Not only did I eat bubblegum pretty good, the pistol has a nice scar too.

Having the gun on the hip, or on my chest just seems like a much better place to not catch up and or get messed up.

If I had a custom drop leg made though, one that was a bit tighter to the leg, I would think it would have solved this issue.

So....are they so out of fashion at this point that if I keep wearing mine, I'll be like......a .....2nd amendment hipster ....? So I'll be "bringing it back" ?
