Know a guy who showed up to a basic pistol class with his trusty hi point and the instructor said it was dangerous and unreliable, rather than just ugly, and made him use a loaner.

Never heard of them being dangerous to the user. You need to give the gun a chance fail. Now the guy won't have any faith in his hi point.

For only a little more you could have a kardashian or nicki manage painted on the slide twerking with the bum side in the direction of the end of the barrel...
