Can anyone me help further identify this ammo? 20210301_210915.jpg 20210319_233528.jpg 20210319_233643.jpg 20210319_233639.jpg 20210319_233604.jpg 20210301_191425.jpg 20210301_205010.jpg 20210301_205145.jpg 20210319_144648.jpg

8mm Mauser and 30-06.

The "7.92" stuff is 8 mauser, you have some Yugoslavian and maybe Portugese?
Belted and ammo can looks lkke Belgian '06, the ither is Lake City match ammo

someone correct me if I guessed wrong ;)

I had a bunch of that Yugo surplus. It is corrosive and about 3 out of every 10 didn't fire. Didn't care, bought it for the stripper clips they came with. The ammo and clips were cheaper than just buying the clips at the time.

Yugo surplus 8mm is known for having very hard primers, and usually has that problem with non-yugo mausers. I often get light primer strikes with that ammo, but firing a second time always results in it going off. I have yet to get a complete dud. Ordering a stronger firing pin spring usually solves the problem
