Hand stops, what are you using?

I was looking at gear sector and it looks like it's a nice stop but for the price even in a group buy it'd still be too much. I know there are a few others like larue. But Same thing, kinda spendy.
So what do you guys use and what are your thoughts?
Has anyone ever cut up an AFG?
If anyones got a busted one they want to part with cheap let me know I'd like to give it a try.

Magpul Angled for grip It has a stop built into it. I got one for free with a rifle I traded for. I am planning on buying a few now for other rifles I own.

I was going to put one on my AR pistol but it pushes my hand too close to the muzzle, that and the fact I wouldn't feel comfortable unless I had a letter from the ATF stating it was Kosher.
I think I'm going to get the gear sector and just pony up the cash but it looks like they are out of stock right now.
