Any turkey around here would taste like sunflower seeds anyway.

Wasn't there another thread where you were all mad because a neighbor shot on of your "pet" deer?

Seems to me keeping wild game animals leery of humans is best for everyone.

Sure I was. if they're "pet" deer (they're not but they sure don't mind humans) then what sportsman would want to shoot them?

Not everyone shoots game animals for sport, so you're right, they wouldn't be sportsman.

You just have to name them appropriately, we had a pig named "Porkchop" and a steer we named "T-bone" that ended up in the freezer.

I've never turkey hunted, let alone hunted at all. I intend on getting a decent bow setup and going after it! My co worker is going to help me along the way.

Saw the first babies of the year yesterday.



One mama and 13 poults. That number will get whittled down in a hurry.
