That's not the pointWait .... what.... seriously?... people still buy magazines ?
Freddy's sucks! I can't stand anything about them any more. All prices are high at stores but the amount of horrible, stupid, infantile commercials that fred's runs is insane. When you shop there, you're paying for that. Their store brand chicken is injected with salt and flavoring. Here in potland it's where the wokester maskers shop. When I do go in there, which is very seldom, I notice a lot of the people are still wearing masks.Well, I would go to the magazine stand at Freddy's, especially while my wife shopped in clothing or makeup, and I would look for articles in the mags that reviewed or discussed things I was interested in whether an actual firearm or accessories, (I'm an instructor) or new techniques or new potential firearms for students etc...I would buy the mag and share good info with others. But it must make the world safer, now with out pictures or articles about guns in the store. Its a great Virtue signal.
ive seen them in Freddys a time or two. They stopped selling "magazines about assault rifles" a few years ago, so no surprise. Some locations used to sell guns before Kroger bought them.
Motorcycles, guns, females with large female attributes, it appears that the same magnetic pull that drew me to the grocery store magazine shelf 55 years ago as a young male, is still in existence today. My local Freddies still sells gun related magazines. They have moved them to the back rows of the upper shelves ... behind the motorcycle magazines featuring women with big headlights on the covers.
Nobody's shutting me up anytime soon. How all the replies. None on topic.
Topic is not the quality of magazines or that people still read magazines.
It is the silencing of gun owners.
Oh geeze those commercials. They're horrible. If they only played them once in a while, fine. But they play them on every radio station at every break. Same with those crap dynovit commercials. Guess who's not going to buy bubbleguming d y n o v i t e or go into Freddy's? OK, rant over. Cigars has spoken.Freddy's sucks! I can't stand anything about them any more. My personal shopping is done at winco here. Too bad you don't have Albertsons or Safeway there in Redmond. I wish you luck.
