URGENT: Fire Mission - Repeal WA's "Emergency Gun Ban" Law
The deadline for a floor vote on SSB 6006 in the State Senate is this Wednesday, February 14.
Dear Supporters,
Amendment 545 to SSB 6006 would repeal the Washington State Governor's "Emergency Powers" gun ban law.
Many do not even know this absurd "Emergency Powers" law still exists.
The bill has been tabled twice this session because the majority party does not want to have a floor vote on Amendment 545 repealing this absurd ban on the legal possession of firearms.
A relic of the 1960's, this law is still on the books even though Washington State hasn't used it yet, and, courts in other parts of the country have found similar laws to be completely unconstitutional.
But this specific gun ban law still remains in Washington…
That's where you come in. We need you to contact your state senator and tell them you support Amendment 545 to SSB 6006.
The deadline is this Wednesday, so we must act immediately!
