They know a red tidal wave is coming...but how big do they want that wave to be? ALOT of congress critters lost their seats after voting to support the '94 AWB...how much of a R majority do they want to give in the House/Senate? A super majority? And if they do, could they not repeal this thing?

Remember a couple things. First was Obama's first stint. For 2 years he had all 3 houses. They lost after they hosed health care. Second this time we really do not know who is running things. It's sure not Joe. When you watch him speak it's easy to see why they do not let him. He is suffering badly and some times does not know where he is. His party has played footsie with some radical's who want FAR more. It's now so bad they are scared of infighting. So they seem to be going all in, counting on a loss at midterms. Look at the southern border and what they are doing. They may well suffer a loss to rival the one Obama had but, what else are they supposed to do? It's either go all in now why they have a chance, or have a lot of infighting.
Last this great hoax has worked beyond what any could have imagined. People lined up to lose their jobs, their business's, their rental property, and they voted the same people back in office. So why would these same people get any angrier over this law? People have to remember laws like this are just fine with a HUGE portion of the gun owners. This law will pass, years later a lot of gun owners will not have even heard of it.
As time goes by and more "find out" they will of course get really mad and want to blame everyone else since they sat on their hands and did nothing, just like before.
The party in power made it very clear they were going to do this and they won. Why would they be afraid to do what they told voters they were going to do and voters responded by electing them?

You almost NEVER will see the ones who were all in for Joe admit it now. If you corner someone over this they just get angry, change the subject, throw out red herring, blame Trump, ect. Media pulled out all the stops they were so shocked by him and sadly a lot of gun owners lapped up that koolaid.
Sadly we all get to live with the choices others made now. All we can do is hope maybe more will wake up next couple elections, maybe.

^^ Largely agree, particularly on the complacency/Liberal Owner/FUDD aspect...how many were oblivious to 1639 and then became slack-jawed in disbelief when turned away at the LGS when they wanted to buy another Ruger 10/22?

The whole concept of 'free & fair elections' is suspect at best, a large part of HR1. But as I say, they 'lose' big enough in the mid-terms, things could pendulum back our way.

I think the southern border is going to be a breaking point here very, very soon at the rate they're FLOODING across. Saw on the news something like 40,000 'got-aways' so far this year. One likened it to a Cat. 5 hurricane approaching from offshore...

One thing was an 'AWB' as new back in '94...everyone knows what it now. The word has to get out and conservatives need to engage politically...make their voices heard, support 2A groups big time, and 'tell their buddies.' The negative flip side is with the scarcity of ammo and guns, many aren't at the ranges/gun shops as much these days and/or isolated.

Sadly, this is true...the 'minority' vote, even if by just one, say 50-49 is considered worthless. Saw this time in again in Olympia...the R's would make a very logical, rational, reasonable, balanced argument in a hearing. And the committee would vote. The D's, who had another vote or two more, ignored everything presented...'and the measure passes' with a smug look on their face. They didn't care what they were doing was going almost exclusively effect law abiding citizens. They wanted it, they got the votes. Same here. You have to understand their goals/objectives and therefore the lengths they will go to to achieve them.
