YOU may not figure it out when your loved one dies but redcap's uncle jed never had guns that redcap just went over to pick up.......before the rest of the family asks a dumb question like yours.
I don't have to worry about this,I have my dad's guns already,but I would just take them home and forgetaboutit.
There probably isn't any records of the guns,nobody will check the obituaries daily and then look up records of their gun purchases * cause there probably isn't any* ,he could have sold all the guns anyway and lastly,nobody cares but the kids.
