Yes the grip you need because of battery and the wireles system but it does take some getting used to the button is odd with practice you can run it pretty good

I will have to wait till it gets dark and take some pictures with the light and laser it's pretty good .
The PROBLEM is it has different settings but it's not easy or fast to chscha them it takes a minute
