Great job!!! hunting elk is hard either method you choose imo cow meat is better to eat then bull meat this years bull didn't taste like the cow I harvested last year I am a meat hunter bull cow doesn't really matter to me all about the experience

Congratulations nice shot. Anyone that thinks killing Elk on public land is easy is either damn lucky or hasn't tried it before. I can't remember all the times I've heard someone say that anyone can kill a cow. Anyone can kill a cow, but not many can't find one to kill.
