There is no reason to link these two issues together. It's possible to be both pro 2A and also pro safe injection sites. The war on drugs is a failure. Locking people up isn't helping, so trying something else is prudent.
 
I believe the connection is the hypocrisy of aiding and abetting known felons on one hand and punishing law-abiding people on the other.

While Seattle Mayor Ed Murray has given the nod of approval to creating of "safe" sites so drug addicts can use illegal drugs, he has worked to make it harder for law-abiding citizens to exercise their Second Amendment rights.

Are Oregon purchasers of long guns and ammo exempt from Seattle's "gun violence tax" the same way we are exempt from sales tax?
 
Buying ammo and guns in Seattle would like going on a scavenger hunt. This means after the tax was levied, one LGS moved out of town and another store try's to talk potential customers into buying at one of their other stores, outside of Seattle. One of the other pawn shops stopped selling guns. So most of the gun business has left.

I'm more on the side of putting HOT LOADS ON THE STREETS ANOTHER WORDS IF YOU USE HORION YOUR GOING TO DIE OF A OVERDOSE AND WE WILL CREAMATE YOU AND FEED YOU TO THE FISH OF ELLIOTT BAY PROBLEM SOLVED
