How likely is it that a 60 year old homeless man could cover 27 feet in less than 2 seconds? lol. Don't get me wrong, a person with a knife can be dangerous for sure. It would seem to me that a squad of officers against a old, homeless guy could probably take him alive somehow.

I went to an old soldier's home for a christmas party years agne guy ,WWII vet,had a huge tray on his wheel chair
I asked WTF? He's like 100 pounds?
They told me I would not believe how strong the guy could be for about 20 seconds(enough time to kill someone?)

And if he just happened to be train by the Army to use a knife,properly,maybe sticks wouldn't quite work without a few injuries.

Maybe he was done and it was suicide.

The local news station was reporting that the number of officer involved shootings by the PPB has dropped over the last ten years. KATU cited a independent research group out of Los Angeles, I can't seem to find the study. I would be interested in seeing it. I work daily with the PPB and have much respect for them.

Remember the mobile missile launch sites or the mushroom cloud scare tactics. If,and I believe it was,9/11 was an inside job,it wasn't necessarily "inside" the government.
The Towers were a white elephant,they were running at a loss.The owner made something like 7billion in insurance moneys with double indemnity because of the terrorist attack.
That,and the ocean to the east,can buy a lot of tight lips.

The building was demoed,no matter who did it.
The planes were not the soul purpose that the towers went down.They didn't fall right for the planes to take them down.And the buildings were specifically designed to take a plane hit

The odds of BOTH of those buildings falling in their own foot print,if they weren't demolished had to be in the millions to 1 category.

I would guess there isn't a handful of demo guys that could have engineered that.

The government didn't have to dirty their hands at all on that.

I was simply stating a fact! Not throwing anything in. Just being honest. I don't agree with your views and you don't agree with mine I am sure.
I have taken part in this thread if you would look back.

Well I agree with you 100% on this. Police officers spend their entire day dealing with the garbage that no one else can or will do anything about. Do I think more training with the newest less than lethal products would better equip our fine officers to make the split second life and death decisions that they will have to live with forever a little easier? Absolutely, but I will sleep soundly tonight knowing that my family is a little safer with one less bad guy on the streets.
